Art in Film & Theatre

So, any honest actor worth their salt will admit that, unless they’ve had an Oscar win or just got a really big break, they’re probably working a day-job or waiting tables in order to pursue their passion.  And there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING shameful about honest work.

Nate in officeI have been fortunate, though to work less waiting tables than most, to spend more time on stage or behind/in front of a camera.  I am thankful for this because it’s allowed me to not only pursue performing, but to pursue my love of Art Direction and Production Design as well.

If you link out to the following website, www.Pillowstone.com, you’ll get a taste of past projects where I was serving in an Art Direction capacity or in another production position.  A number of these projects were theatrical or small enough to never see the light of day on IMDB.  This website is no longer maintained with updates, but I’m working on gathering all of this portfolio work and presenting it here on NathanDMyers.com    As a new friend recently described my portfolio, “…there’s a lot of juice in here!”  Enjoy the outbound link for now!
